한국영양학회(회장 이명숙)는 10월 15일 서울 드래곤시티호텔에서 ‘생애주기별 비만 표현형에 따른 예방 및 치료(Impact of Nutrition on Obesity over the Life Cycle)’를 주제로 2021 추계국제학술대회를 개최한다.

이번 학술대회에서는 미국 하버드 의과 대학 Christos S. Mantzoros 교수가 ‘Nutrition, Obesity and NAFLD/NASH; the metabolic epidemic of the 21^st century’, 영국 브리스틀 대학 Jeff Holly 교수가 ‘Diabetes, Obesity and Covid-19’를 주제로 기조강연을 한다.

또, △Special Lectures △Prevention and Treatment of Maternal Obesity △The practice and prevention of Childhood Obesity △Trends of obesity and weight management in Adolescent: From binge eating to food addiction △Adult Obesity: Bridging basic discoveries and Clinical Nutrition application △Sarcopenic obesity in the Elderly 등 6개 세션을 운영한다.

영양학회는 같은 날 신진과학자 특별위원회 발대식과 대학원생 영어 구연 및 포스터 발표를 하고, 제56차 정기총회를 개최한다.
