한국식품과학회(회장 임승택)는 27일 더플라자호텔 서울에서 2016 한중 국제 파이토뉴트리언트 심포지엄을 개최했다.

이날 심포지엄에서는 △Modulating inflammaging with phytonutrients : A focus on gene-environment dynamics in cardiovascular disease and aging △Whole grain and health : Evidence for China dietary guideline △Research and development of brahmi, a medicinal plant for memory improvement : from lab to market △Evidence based mushroom (enokitake) cleared by basic and clinical studies △Study on vitamin A requirement of adult Chinese by isotope dilution technique combined with vitamin A intervention trial and β-carotene intervention trial 등을 주제로 발표했다.

또, △Molecular breeding of pepper cultivars containing high levels of capsinoids △Significance of fit for purpose tests for botanical ID and adulteration △Best practices for botanical raw material △DNA barcoding to prohibit economically motivated adulteration for functional food materials 등에 대해 발표했으며, 이어 ‘Raw material management of health functional food’를 주제로 패널토론을 했다.
