Webb, chief financial information officer of Ford Motor Co., has been appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer of Kellogg Company (NYSE: K).``Tom Webb brings outstanding financial and analytical skills to Kellogg Company, said Carlos M. Gutierrez, Kelloggs president and chief executive officer. ``This appointment both strengthens and completes the global leadership team that we have been putting in place to renew and lead this great enterprise.Webb has had a distinguished 22-year career with Ford and its subsidiaries. After 14 years in financial analysis and supervisory positions of increasing responsibility, he was promoted to director, Latin American and Asia-Pacific analysis in 1991; to director, financial studies in 1992; to controller, Electronics Division in 1993; and to controller, Large Front-Wheel Drive Vehicle Center in 1994. In 1996, he was promoted to chief financial officer/vice president of Visteon Corporation, an $18 billion components business established by Ford. He was appointed to his current position in May 1999.Webb holds both a bachelors degree and an MBA degree from George Mason University.
